Yesterday was really hell. Literally.
It was freaking hot outside! It was 48 C and still going up during 11:00am - 3:00pm. I had to go to my boss to take care of him but my office mate didn't turn on his A/C because he had had his lengthy time-healing stiff neck. He told me that A/C can exacerbate his condition so as a nurse, I sacrificed the scorching heat of the sun and the hair blower-like air slapping my face on the open window.
It was so hot I think my sweat sweat.
My back was drenched with sweat. My Antonio Banderas Seduction Perfume was gone. Washed away and was replaced by a sticky, gooey and stinky smell of sweat. Thank God I brought my lab coat along with me to mask the wet parts of my polo shirt.
It was so hot I could feel my eggs are already cooked.
When my Arab office mate drove me back to the office, I keep wearing my doctor's (ambitious,am i?) coat because all parts of my back were deluged by the icky-smelling sweat.
Today, the temperature outside is 45 C. My temperature is 38.0 C. Curse you, work. :(
Nurses get sick too,
Paul
