Throbbing. Gnawing. Teeth gritting. Stomach belching. Although those words are exaggerated but it's true. The pain I'm feeling right now is excruciating. I have migraine, or so I thought. My household member told me blatantly it's migraine because the pain is unilateral which means the pain is only experienced on either side of the brain, not both. I then researched and read Wikipedia and she's right. Smart ass.
According to Wikipedia, several studies have found some migraines are triggered by changes in weather. One study noted 62% of the subjects thought weather was a factor but only 51% were sensitive to weather changes. This is true in my case since I'm in the Middle East and it's freaking hot in here. The air is humid, too. I so want to wear an umbrella, but I found out that no one is wearing or even bringing those outside!
As I write this post, my right head pulsates like a leaping heartbeat. I tried to sleep awhile ago but my head was so painful that I grit my teeth just to make it stop. This is the first time I had one of these tension headaches. I experienced a lot of headaches back in the Philippines but nothing compares to this one.
Pain Scale 8/10,
Paul
