Might as well go back. :(

Finally, our 2-day massive job application was done. First, I would like to thank the following things:
- my Crocs Shoes for that oh so comfy feeling while walking the streets of Doha
- my deodorant for not letting me down (though some markings were still visible)
- my cool and comfortable clothes that I wore for two days straight :)
- my camera for...i don't know..to make me look cooler

First Day:

Hot.

No, not me. I already know that but I'm referring to the weather. Our itinerary would be to go to all of the hospitals in one day. That would be impossible I know but I'm just being optimistic. Anyway, we first went to the first one and happily received our application form. We decided to go back tomorrow since we don't have all the requirements they need. Darn it. So we really need to have a 2nd day. sigh. next stop, one of the private hospitals here in Doha. Sadly, they turned us down due to the fact that we need to pass the NHA exam of the Supreme Council of Health. We then went to the Ministry of Health to inquire about the said examination. she gave us the site to visit but it didn't help.

"How in the world we'll be able to take the Exam if one of the requirements is you have to have an employer and them employers will not hire us if we don't have an NHA license?"

Confusing? Absolutely. Now we're stuck. But we didn't give up. we went to another hospital and luckily they took our CV's and told us we'll just have to wait. Yeah, right. Like you're gonna exactly call us. Hungry, we went to City Centre to take our lunch. I had burger and fries - my favorite because I like to gain weight. ;)

Second Day:

Optimism. We need that when we searched again for jobs. the scorching sun didn't affect us thinking this was just God's test on how far we'll go just to have jobs. I'd just think of the expensive fares as a sacrifice. Lord, tabang. :( We went to the remaining hospitals we planned to go to but still we got the same replies: "You don't have NHA, 2 years experience? go back home boy!, blah blah blah.." of course, the last part was kinda exaggerating. hahahah. but still that's what I'm gonna do if I can't find a job here. Went back home. Cooked dinner. Dad's here. Locked the door. Sulked, again.

Lord, tabang,

Paul
