I went back home still thinking what the lady had said about my shirt. i just wore a blue plaid denim-like shirt with a white undershirt inside it. What's a Chambray anyway. I then went into my computer and searched for it in Google. The Chambray was one of the shirts from Banana Republic's Spring Edition. I laughed because it REALLY looked like my PHP400 shirt.
I'm really not into brands. As shown above, that's my favorite pair of jeans. As you can see, it lacks a brand. not because the brand's been torn or anything but it's just brand-less. a plain jeans. no style. no anything. just plain blue jeans. It's because I'm after the quality.
Yes, quality. You don't have to spend (or waste) too much money just to have a nice quality clothing. well, of course, some pricey clothes are high in quality but some are also so-so's and some are not even worth buying and wearing! I also have some lavish clothes as well but still nothing beats my worn out, brand-less, 400 peso pair o' jeans.
If there's one thing i hate is that people show off their well-off clothes to people even if they didn't ask for the details. 'wow, cool shoes,' 'yeah, they're Birkenstock's Madeira Jet Black Leather from the Footprints collection.' uhh.. excuse me, i didn't asked for the details, i just complimented your shoes, you don't have to tell me everything from where was it made or the price. what a total dumbass.
You might think that I'm bitter and I can't afford those dainty clothing. Well, yes. we're poor and not really exposed to that setting but I'm thankful that I didn't get exposed because i would become a social climber by now and it's not nice to be one. I enjoy clothes that are not really expensive but cool and comfy to wear. After all, it's not how much your clothes cost, it's how you well you wear them. Thank God I'm cute. :)
Paul - shorts, a white tshirt, and slippers
you look good on simple clothes anyway..
